چکیده
Development of self-compacting concrete (SCC) is a very desirable achievement in the reinforced (RC) structures for overcoming issues associated with many problems such as congestions steel reinforcement. This non-vibrating not affected by skill workers, and shape amount reinforcing bar arrangement structure. Due to high fluidity resisting power SCC, it can be pumped longer distances. In this study, finite element (FE) modeling three SCC beams shear while taking into account, flexural tensile strength computed results are compared available experimental tested beams. The stirrups located at 75 mm apart from end up loading point. electrical strain gauges (ESGs) have been embedded on their readings taken every step load increment. For longitudinal bars concrete, 3-D elements 2-node 8-node, used respectively. comparison obtained two methods indicated that good satisfactory agreement achieved.

Finite Element Modeling of Reinforced Concrete Beams Exposed to Fire
Abstract: The practical implementation of performance-based fire safety design of reinforced concrete (RC) structures hinges on the availability of accurate numerical simulation tools for the behavior of RC members exposed to fire. This paper presents a three-dimensional (3D) finite element (FE) model for the accurate prediction of both the thermal and the mechanical behavior of RC beams expose...

in this paper the response of cantilevered reinforced concrete (rc) beams with smart rebars under static lateral loading has been numerically studied, using finite element method. the material used in this study is superelasticshape memory alloys (se smas) which contains nickel and titanium elements. the se sma is a unique alloy that has the ability to undergo large deformations and return to t...
متن کاملFinite Element Response Sensitivity Analysis of Steel-Concrete Composite Beams with Deformable Shear Connection
The behavior of steel-concrete composite beams is strongly influenced by the type of shear connection between the steel beam and the concrete slab. For accurate analytical predictions, the structural model must account for the interlayer slip between these two components. In numerous engineering applications e.g., in the fields of structural optimization, structural reliability analysis, and fi...
